Access Control - the way you want it
In today's world, control of who has access to your sites, and where within those sites, is something all organisations must consider – both to stop theft (of items or data), and as importantly for staff safety. Access Control is a standard feature of Capture it™ allowing you to have one system and ID token to cover many functions – without the overhead of multiple systems and data entry.
Staff use the same cards/fobs to open doors and car park barriers as they do for clocking in and out. Capture it™ is the complete system out of the box.

Take Control
The door access system can be configured at an individual and group level with specific access rights. You can easily control exactly who can use which doors – and when.
For example, access to a smoking area could be limited to break times, or the main company entrance could be restricted during twilight hours –the server room can be restricted to just IT staff.
Once the staff member is setup on the system their access rights are automatically pushed out to the doors for a seamless process when onboarding the employee – one onboarding process for Time and Attendance, Access Control and Absence Management without a paper chase of emails, DM’s or telephone calls.
Record and Review
Every instance of access is recorded against the individual for traceability. This can be useful when it comes to employees who are late and choose to ‘forget to clock in’ when trying to disguise the fact they were late – or to track staff between buildings in conjunction with the evacuation list function to know who is where in an emergency.
Not just for doors
A wide range of lock types can be accommodated – allowing the best solution to be used for any access location - the system can be configured to work as one-way access control, two-way access control and to be “fail safe” or “fail secure” in the event of power loss.
Turnstiles and traffic barriers can also be catered for.
The access control system uses your existing Ethernet network so there are no additional costs associated with proprietary data cabling. Battery back-ups so that doors continue to operate normally in the event of power loss if required.
Our experienced staff are trusted by high profile companies to recommend and implement the right solutions for the requirement – from the simple entrance door to the automated airlocks required for some production environments.
But I have an access control solution and cards – can't I just use those for Time and Attendance too?
We can configure our clocking terminals to work with most access control tokens so that you only require one token for both systems. You are then supporting two separate systems which isn't ideal, however if you have invested heavily in an existing access control system it may be a pragmatic solution – whilst avoiding two fobs or cards for employees.
