Allowances

Whilst the most common absence types are included as standard, you can create new types as required.

Capture it™ will manage most schemes where employees have, or earn allowances for example:

- Annual Leave allowances either based of fixed amounts, length of service or accrual
- Pro-rata of allowances for new starters
- Pro-rata for part-timers
- Pro-rata bank holiday adjustment for part timers
- Rolling sick schemes
- TOIL

Absence booking

Absences may be auto created (for example if an employee simply doesn't turn up on a working day), manually entered, or created via the integrated employee self-service app.

Attendance Calendars

In Capture it™, each employee, department (or the entire company), has their own colour-coded attendance calendar. You can, at a glance, spot trends, patterns and problems. The calendar can be filtered by holidays, sicknesses and lateness to promote clarity. All days can include notes to aid understanding of historical events, and share information about known future events - removing needless phone calls between supervisors & HR etc.

Analyse and Review

You can look back at an employee’s absence and attendance record historically on screen or by user friendly reports – the easy-to-understand graphical screen views can be easily printed out. This can be especially useful when carrying out appraisals.

Automatic Alerts

Capture it™ will proactively alert you to all sorts of events, including lateness, an employee returning to work from absence – to prompt Return to Work process, trying to book a previously declined day and many more - this removes the needs to run reports or look at screens to identify the events retrospectively!

Skill Shortage Prevention

If authorising a period of leave for an employee will cause you to not have enough people within a skill set, (e.g. first aiders, fire marshals, drivers, key holders, or anything else you want) for that period, Capture it™ will warn you or optionally prevent the booking.
